thank you so much for your response. apparently, im looking for connecting custom field to the cart function, like how coupon work, but different objective. i will try your other suggestions.

There’s no hook in the cart totals/order review template in the location your screenshot indicates (below subtotal, but before coupons)

Keep in mind, the StackOverflow suggested hook only exists if shipping is needed on the order… which may or may not be sufficient. If shipping it not required and you still need to display that extra field in that location, I suspect you would need to override this template.

Thank you for your response, how can i connect my custom field to the cart function? just like how coupon works, when i try to load all the meta data, my custom field is not part of the meta data.
