    Hi,

After doing the usual suspects process to find which plugin was causing my website strange behavior, I realized it was Jetpack…

By strange behaviour, I mean it’s breaking the sticky components which are not sticky anymore. Can see an exemple in the link provided. Both the top menu should be sticky on scroll up while the sidebar menu on the right should also be sticky.

To add to the weirdness, if checking while I’m connected on my wordpress dashboard, it looks fine, I saw this problem while checking on private mode (meaning how everyone else see my site…)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @rely28,

This may be outside our Scope of Support, to help with, but as a first troubleshooting step, you could try going to Jetpack > Settings > Writing, and try toggling off Infinite Scroll. See if that helps.

Let us know what you find.

    Hi,

Unfortunately I don’t have the toggle for infinite scroll (which means my theme is not using it it I guess) as you can see on this image : https://ibb.co/hLVKsHL

I’m not sure why it would be out of your scope of support, as far as I know, my problem is “your products is causing an issue on your site”, I’m not asking for either “website optimization, .htaccess rules, site speed or performance, DNS, email delivery or receipt issues, errors not related to our products, SSL certificate and/or HTTPS implementation, firewall setup, crashed / unresponsive sites, or customizations to Jetpack’s code

    Hi @rely28,

Can you try deactivating the Infinite Scroll module by heading to the Jetpack Dashboard page in wp-admin? From there, scroll it down till its very end and click on ‘Modules’. That leads you to another page where you should click on ‘Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.’

From there, look for the Infinite Scroll module and turn it off.

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks, but it’s already deactivated… so this is not the particular culprit…

    Hi there

I know you said the issue is resolved by deactivating Jetpack, but have you tested deactivating every plugin except Jetpack? It could be that another plugin is creating a conflict between Jetpack and your theme. Plugins that affect javascript, such as minification/optimization plugins can often cause this kind of issue.

If the issue remains with only Jetpack activated, then there is likely a direct conflict between Jetpack and your theme.

You can try deactivating ALL of Jetpack’s modules from the Modules page Stef mentioned above. If that helps, you can reactivate them one by one.

If not, I’d suggest contacting the author of your theme to see if they can help. Since it’s a premium theme we are not able to test it ourselves.
