Creating CPT without plugins/in a function file

    Hello friends,
    I have been trying to create a CPT on my site manually in a function file (without plugins).
    [That is: by adding a php file, in the “mu-plugins folder” that I created under the wp-includes directory].

    For starter, I tried to create a “photo cpt” copying the codes provided here:- My Custom PostTypes Live in MU

    But I don’t see the new CPT in the admin-panel of my site.

    Is there something-else I should do? Like, “enable” or stuff? Or, are there necessary site/theme specific tweaks?
