Creating category filter

Hey there,
So I am trying to create a category filter for products in the sidebar. For example, I have a male and female as two categories; and clothes and shoes as another two categories. I assign my products to a gender and a type of product.
So I want to know how i can allow my users to filter products by choosing a gender and a product type. Is there a plugin or I can do that within woo commerce?
