I’ve taken over as webmaster for a nonprofit site and am in the process of changing hosts and transferring the domain to Hostinger.

Yesterday, I updated the nameservers and lost the whole site, panicked, and then eventually pointed back to the old name servers and the site is back. I now am trying to be more careful to create a backup so that we can do a more thoughtful migration of the site to Hostinger.

In trying to do Backup Migration of the site, I got this debugging code: BMI-0ShMbz7E-64764

Any suggestions on what I should do next to make sure I have a good backup that can be migrated to the new host would be appreciated. Keep in mind, I’m just a volunteer and not super technical.

    Hello @wilmingtonhgc ,

Your debug code, tells me that the backup was cancelled by Apache Web Server.
It was most likely caused by KeepAliveTimeout directive in Apache configuration.

We have alternate backup method, that can bypass this limitation.
Simply, follow below steps, there are also other things you can improve.

Please open first section of the plugin named: “What will be backed up?”
Find subsection named: “Exclude by folder / file name (case-sensitive)”
Here add these three rules, like on image: https://prnt.sc/9oftADPd_Z7e

Once you do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to “Other options” section
    2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
    3. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    4. Save “Other options” section
    5. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

When you do that, try to run your backup once again.

Let me know if that worked for you???
    Thank you!
