• I have installed the plugin and set up an affiliate but on the affiliate dashboard every option under the menu gives a ‘page not found’ error. I cannot see how to create an affiliate link to send out.

I do not want any users to be able to login to the online shop. I am not giving an option to create an account. I would also ideally like only affiliates to be able to log in but I think I will have to diable this somehow also as when you sign out it takes you to the account page which I want hidden and I’d like to hide the affiliate registration page too na have tehm contact me if they want to be an affiliate. Or just hide it all and just send them a link
I will set up the few affiliates and send them their links but I cnanot actually create an affiliate link even myself.
I need to have this up and running today as the marketing info will go out to a major affiliate and I need the link for them

    Hello there,
hope you are doing well! ??

Could you check if regenerating the WordPress permalinks this issue is solved, please?

To regenerate the permalinks you only need to access the permalinks settings “WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks” and click on the “Save changes” buttons without making any change.

Then you can check if the issue with the pages is solved, if not, let us know, please.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Iván Sosa and thank you;

I had the same problem with the links in the affiliate dashboard not finding the page in any option I clicked in the affiliate dashboard menu.

I followed your advice and regenerated the permalinks in wordpress settings and it worked.

    Thanks for your Help

    Hi Ivan
Your solution worked for me. many thanks for the prompt reply. Just been so busy trying to get the site live haven’t had time till now to reply.
Im still a bit confused as to whether when you register as an affiliate, it is supposed to create a user account for the affiliate as it seems that the plugin relies on the user having an acocunt. Or is it possible to have an affiliate without and account.

Or am I supposed to set up the affiliate account once a request has been made.

    Many thanks

    James

    Hello there,

Yes. In order to create an affiliate, the user should have a registered account, even if you create manually from the backend or the customer tries to register as an affiliate using the registration form.

Let us know any news, please.

    Have a nice day!
