Creating a user submitted form

Hi
Im trying to set this up but have difficulty. Im not a web developer but run two websites. I have basic skills basically. Can someone help.
I want the the user to submit events on on events page and a list of events shown.
not anonymous though. Events will mainly be online events due to lockdown
