Creating a theme

  • Hi,

    I’ve created my first theme at https://wpthemes.onlinewithjustin.com/ that I would like to provide for free download. I was wondering though, because I based this on Kubrick as a starting point with the same files and layout and altered as I went along, is it ok to distribute it?

    Just thought I’d check if distributing a theme based on Kubrick was ok to do before I went ahead.

    Also, any comments and suggestions on the theme are welcome.

  • Nice looking theme. As long as you state somewhere that your theme was based on the kubrick theme I don’t think you should have a problem. Most themes use that as a base anyway.

    Thanks Jeremy, I will mention that it was based on Kubrick in the footer.
