Creating a Template

    Want to be able to create a page that looks like the rest of the pages on the site, but can’t seem to figure out how to do this with sermons plugin.

  • Hey @dawnmb,

    To use templates in your theme, you should open Sermon Manager directory via FTP or some file manager, and copy the .php files from views subfolder to your theme root.

    For example, to modify only page where all sermons are shown (https://example.com/sermons), you should copy file /wp-content/plugins/sermon-manager-for-wordpress/views/archive-wpfc_sermon.php to /wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen/archive-wpfc_sermon.php and modify it however you like.

    For single sermon view, you would use single-wpfc_sermon.php, for preachers view taxonomy-wpfc_preacher.php, and so on.
