• Hey guys,

I’m fairly new to wordpress, however I do know the basics. This is the theme I’m using: https://nemotheme.dreamhosters.com/

What I’m trying to do is to create the “Blog” menu tab with it’s sub-menus. But the main problem I’m having is the sub-menu.

I have created a page with its parent as “blog” so that it shows as its dropdown, but no it doesnt work.

I went to “appearance” tab in wordpress to add my submenu under “blog” and then i dragged it over to the right to make it staggered. (this should make it a submenu right?) Publish and still nothing happens.

I cant figure it out, im about to pull out my hair lol.

Can someone help me out here?

  • It might be an issue in the theme. It is possible to set the depth of a menu to only contain a certain number of levels. If the depth is set to 1, submenus would not appear.

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercially supported theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com.

    Sorry Esmi, I didnt know

I also wasnt sure if it was something I was doing wrong with wordpress itself or the theme. That’s also on of the reasons why I’m asking.

At Lori, So I was doing everything right? How would I change the depth? Unless that’s set by the theme developer.

Seems like you did things right, assuming you saved the menu after you added the submenu link. If the menu depth was set by the theme developer, you should contact them to find out the best way to change it. If you rewrite the code and the theme gets updated, you will lose your changes.

Pkluong, the guys who made the theme would be best to ask here.
