[ Moved to the Fixing WordPress sub-forum. ]

Hello, I have been using WordPress for just under a year and i am not a coder.
I am trying to set up a “simple” site for a Community, that requires part of the site to be open to the Public.
Then i need a Post(s) that can only be viewed if you are an approved member of the community.
Finally, given that a member of the community want to view confidential information specific to themselves i need this second level of security access only for a particular user.

There will be a maximum of about 50 users in total.

I am aware that i can give people a password and then configure a post(s) to only be accessible given that the correct password is used.
I am also aware that i can configure a User as say a SUBSCRIBER, and if i change the Subscribers Capabilities i can then allow the Subscriber to access a post(s).

But i am struggling to find out how to create a unique access to a Post(s) for particular “Subscribers”

I have looked at several Plugins that provide “Membership” functionality but they seem far to complicated for my requirements.

I would be very appreciative of any direction on this please?

    Thank You

WordPress doesn’t “natively” provide for what you want, a plugin would be required. This one is reliable, fairly straight forward, and not very expensive:
