    Hi Guys,

I would really appreciate your help with the following. I’m the author of this blog https://www.stopthewarondrugs.org and am trying to find out whether it would be possible to add a page or a widget with a searchable database. My idea is as follows: I have in my computer a large number of documents, mainly PDF but other formats too, that I would like to upload to my website and make it available to the general public. I want people to be able to access the documents directly form my site, instead of providing links to said documents. The icing on the cake would be if people could search for a particular document, using keywords for instance, instead of scrolling through a list of documents. I hope this make sense. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi guys,
I apologise for keeping bothering you, but I would sincerely appreciate it if you could help me one more time. I have succeeded in combining two plugins, “Document Links Widget” & “Widgets on Pages”, to list a large number of documents in a single page, Key Research Papers, in my website:

I have been searching for a way to order the list alphabetically, but to no avail. I have no knowledge of php coding, so I am wondering if you could advice me how to modify the “Document Links Widget” plugin script to make it sort the list alphabetically.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Good news! I’ve managed to solve the issue. Steps:

    1. Go to plugins and click on editor
    2. Select Document Links Widget
    3. Select document-links-widget/rd-documentlinks-plugin.php
    4. Find “ORDER BY post_date” and replace it with “ORDER BY post_title”

    Cheers!
