Creating a page with a flickr-like photostream

I have a “pure” blog site where the front page displays the latest posts, etc. What I would like to do is to add a page that displays a flickr like photostream – yes, I know I can do this easily using flickr and some plugin (and I might do that if I can’t figure out a nice WP-only solution). What I want to do is to update a photo, add title, comment and have these photos appear in on that page. I don’t want them to appear on other places like in my regular blog.

Is this possible? If so, what alternatives do I have, note that I want to be able to do this using my mobile phone (and it’s OK if a solution involves ftp etc)
