Creating a Page for archive of a category

    Hi,
    I want to create a page template that will display the archives of a certian category (it needs to be a page, so it shows up in the navbar like a page) how would i do that?

    ok, to make things clear, I have a category template page, and i want it to show as a page in the page list and not in the category list, is there some way to manually ‘feed’ the loop if it’s not a real cagegory page (rather a page template)?

    Wrong approach ??
    Pages are Pages and Category_Templates are category templates. Even if you “want” so, they won’t mix.
    If it is about one (1) item showing up in your list in the sidebar: wouldn’t be easier just adding this one item manually to the list?

    hey, i found a way, just mannually feeding the loop with query_posts()

    well… how did you do it?
