    Greetings

I have deleted a number of tables which has resulted in a number of gaps in the table numbers. Is it possible to allocate a table number when creating a new table?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

You could change the table ID to a smaller number again (or actually even to text ID (letters, numbers, hyphens are allowed) on the “Edit” screen of the table.

Alternatively, it’s possible to reset the “Last used ID” to a smaller number, but it’s a bit complex process. You’d need to go to the page https://example.com/wp-admin/options.php (where example.com is your domain), and find the “tablepress_tables” entry. There, you can change a number after “last_id” to a smaller number.

    Regards,
    Tobias
