• When I try to create a new page WordPress seems to make a zillion new pages. If I click delete on the 1st page it creates all the unwanted new pages get deleted.
Here’s a screenshot of what it does.

The page ‘Download’ was already created. And ‘s’ is a page I just tried to create.

    Anyone know what’s going on?

  • I would crash wordpress and reload it. Or chat or call your hosting tech support if they offer wordpress help. If they don’t crash it and reload.

What do you mean by crash and reload it?

    I’m hosting it myself.

just out of curiosity — whats the name of the page you are creating, is it downloads? and does that happen no matter what the name of the page is?

also, to aid in you in judging the replies you get here on the forums — under members namwe on the forum here is a link to their profile, where you can see how long they have been on the forum here, their post history etc..

“crash and reload” isn’t a suggestion I would follow at this point –

Thanks whooami. It happens what ever the name of the page. I’ve done tried with 3 or 4 different ones to same effect. Each time I can delete all the pages by clicking delete once on the first page created.
