Creating a link on an image in a side bar

I’m new to this and this is my first effort at the forums here. Currently I’m using the Twenty Eleven Word Press theme and I added an image widget to my main side bar. The plugin itself is version 3.3.7 by Modern Tribe, Inc. The image I am using in the sidebar is a header from another site and I want to create a link to this image that will connect someone to the other site. But with the image in the widget, it doesn’t have that option to create a link like it would with an image on a normal page. Is there some simple way to get this image to link to another site? Also can this be done with text in the image widget? If this involves work with code, that’ll be out of my range unless it is really, really simple. My site is markmcmillion.com.
