• Hi everyone,

I need help. I want to create a front page for my website using iWeb and then run the rest of the subpages on my website using WordPress.

Here is what I need help doing:

    1. I have created the front page in iWeb and have exported all of the files to a folder on my desktop. I need to know which files to upload (using FileZilla) so that the front page I created in iWeb is what shows up when I go to https://www.sitename.com.

    2. I have created a sub-directory for WordPress on my site where I can just link to from the front page. I think this should work, but if anyone has comments, please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks!

  • It sounds like you already have everything down.

If you installed WordPress in it’s own directory (“blog” for example) then it’ll only show when you navigate to that folder (yoursite.com/blog). If you upload at least an “index.html” file (You’ll probably also have a .css file to go with it) in the root of your site (yoursite.com) then that will be what is shown there.
