I was running your product feed generation and 2 mins into the process it killed mysql database server connection and i cannot repair it.

All pages no longer respond and return “Error establishing a database connection”.

The database is intact and can be accessed via cPanel and phpMyAdmin, however the DB server cannot be restarted. I executed a DB repair via the repair link in the cpanel, this when completed allowed the testConnection.php script to return a connected successfully response only once before the server crashed out again.

What exactly is it that happens during the feed creation that has killed the database and how can get it up and running again? I’m unable to find the restartsrv script to run it so i’m pretty well screwed and in need of help!

I don’t have any configuration erros on the db, it was all connected and working hunky dory and had been for many weeks, then within 2 mins 3 seconds of starting the product feed generation process it becomes unresponsive and disconnects.

It seems remotely odd that any random occurance would happen at that specific time.

The web host are also looking into it, it just seems too much of a coincidence. So what i was wanting to know, what exactly the publish product feed generation process does technically? which may have caused this

This seems to have been a hosting related issue not the plugin
