  • phpBB and WordPress are to separate and very different applications that were not designed to work with each other. If you found an easy way to integrate them I would be surprised. I don’t think you are missing anything, the task is just that complex.

Why not use bbPress? It’s as easy as activating a plugin, and creating a page called forums. Done.

Where do I find the app for bbPress? Also, are you suggesting that this will satisfy my dilemma ? I’m trying to create a forum which will include a members only area and be able to link it to my Blog page on my website. Does that make any sense?

Also within my forum I want to be able to post a multitude of blog post topics to attract members and convert them into my members only area. This must include a capture or landing page. Hopefully I am explaining this right because I see examples of this all the time.

Now that I have uploaded the bbpress pluggin I notice that it sort of interacts with my blog post. I am new to all this stuff.

How do I edit my text as like I would in a word document. ie:
    font styles
    color
    font shapes

How do I integrate my text with forum, topic and blog post?
