creating a custom affiliate page

i am creating a custom affiliate page from scratch —can someone tell me the sure fire way i can offer a photos code gathered from wordpresss media gallery– i have tried to cut and paste the code that downloads from the media gallery and have tested it on blogger –the photo fails to appear can someone help me with that by giving exact info…..
