Sorry if this is rudimentary, but i’m trying to create a child theme for Llorix one lite. I have created many child themes before and never this error:

    Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete.

    Name Description
Llorix One Lite Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “llorix one lite” parent theme.

The theme is installed, I created my CSS file as per the usual and even created the functions.php as per the instructions found at https://docs.themeisle.com/article/14-how-to-create-a-child-theme but it’s not showing up. Is there something else I’m missing?

I’m using Llorix One LiteVersion: 0.1.17
    Wordpress v4.6
    Local install on my machine

    Thank you.

  • Do not know if this will help you but you could try using plugin “Child Themify”, it worked for me out of the box. I then copied as usual header, footer, functions to child folder. Gl

Thanks, Brandy! I typically prefer not to rely on plugins since I don’t know when they might stop working, but I will keep this in mind as an alternative. Hopefully someone from themeisle might be able to provide some insight as to why this particular theme is acting this way.

    Hey there,

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Can you please show us what you have in the “Template” part of your child theme’s stylesheet? Thanks!

    Hi Suyogya,

That was the exact right question to ask. I had Template: llorix one lite but I just changed it to Template: llorix-one-lite and now I’m able to see the child theme ??
