• So my client wants to find a better back up option for a large WordPress site (approximately 160.9 GB worth of files) what are some options I have? I tried using plugins such as Updraft, but it never finishes and stops around 20% of the way. We are currently using Pantheon to host.

Thank you, Steven. Yeah, I’m talking to them now, but even they also have a limit of 100?GB for their backups. I’m in the process of archiving a lot of the old content. to try to minimize the total size.

Do you have SSH access? You could use mysqldump to create a backup and then download via SFTP. Similary, tar ang gzip the files and download theme. Once you work that out, it could be automated. I’d talk to pantheon support about how best to do that on their systems.
