creating a addon domain and Installing wordpress

    Hi I’m New to wordpress.I have a Bluehost India Multi Domain Hosting plan.The Blushost Global and Bluehost India are different from each other.
    I have 3 domains registered in my name.I have successfully created my primary website by following the instructions given in this video

    I want to create an addon domain.created a new database under public_html/addondomain.com installed wordpress in public_html/addondomain.com but when I visit my addon domain at this step I should see this message “There does’nt seem to be a wp-config.php file.I need this before we can get started”
    create a configuration file but all I can see is Bluehost header with a Blank page.

    I don’t know what the problem is.Please help me in creating an addon domain.Thank you.

    I’m unable to connect wordpress to my sql databases.

    Hey there,

    This could be happening because of two possible reasons:-

    • You renamed wp-config.php to something else, in which case please check and rename it back to wp-config.php
    • There’s no wp-config.php present in the directory where WordPress is installed, in which case-
      Download the latest WordPress package from here. Now, extract it somewhere on your PC and manually upload the wp-config.php file from there to your sub domain’s directory, where WordPress is installed. Open wp-config.php and edit the following code. Check out this link for help.

      // ** MySQL settings ** //
define('DB_NAME', 'dbname');    // The name of the database
define('DB_USER', 'username');     // Your MySQL username
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'password'); // ...and password
define('DB_HOST', 'mysql.server.com');

    If none of this works for you, try installing WordPress through FTP. Hope it helps.

    Hi thanks for the help.But the problem is not with the wordpress installation or databases but I have added wrong Name servers.
    Instead of adding the name servers for Bluehost India I added the name servers of Bluehost Global.That is why I see a Bluehost welcome page when I visit my site.

    BLUEHOST INDIA CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

    BLUEHOST INDIA and BLUEHOST GLOBAL are two different companies.
