• Hi,

On my site, I’ve installed a simple HTML page embedding a LaunchRock “coming soon” full-page widget. The server I uses looks for index.html before it tries index.php. So, when this LaunchRock page is installed on index.html, it’s the only visible page. I’ve installed WP in the same folder and it naturally has created index.php which sits beside index.html.

Is there a way to work on my WP page and view it “secretly,” so that I can eventually just remove index.html (and the embedded LaunchRock widget) when I’m ready to launch so that the server defaults to index.php?

If I try to directly access domain.com/index.php, it redirects automatically to domain.com, which is index.html.

    Thank you for your help!
