• I noted that the plugin is turning keywords within script tags into affiliate links – subsequently, these scripts do not work properly anymore. This is e.g. for rich result scripts (shown as errors by google) or wordpress-preview links (shown as text) the case. This happens only sometimes (it may therefore be hard to track or replicate) but it better shouldn’t happen at all.
Let me know if you need more details.

Hello. Thank you for reporting this. Script tags should not be present in post content, but it is, the plugin should not mix it up. I will provide a fix soon.

Great, thank you. If you need an example – I just spotted that the word press link (to another paint-related article) in this post is shown as a non-linked but affiliated text rather than a preview.

Hello. Can you point specifically where the link is inserted within the script tags ?

Sure – one example is a schema.org FAQ block where the link looks like this:

"name": "How to Dry Wet Wood Before Painting",
"description": "Now that you know the importance of drying the wood before you use it for any <a title="" class="aalmanual" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=as_li_ss_tl?k=woodworking&rh=n:228013&dc&qid=1567004801&rnid=2941120011&ref=sr_nr_n_1&linkCode=ll2&tag=sls852-20&linkId=8dba875e9917b9cdbafd1cd317594a90&language=en_US">woodworking</a>, let’s have a look at how to dry it.

This is an excerpt of this post/faq but as the links are created randomly, it might not be there anymore and would be hard to replicate.

Thank you. I think the information is enough to help me fix this. Will let you know when it is done.

Hi Lucian, not sure whether you had already included this fix in the last update. Just a quick observation: I didn’t have any auto links in script tags in 2. half of Dec but they appeared again yesterday.

Hello. I made some changes but I was unable to replicate your issue on our test servers. The solution that will fix this is a change in the replacement engine which is planned for the next major update.
