Created twenty eleven child theme and get Warning: Cannot modify header info

    I followed the current codex instructions to create a child theme using twenty eleven and when I activate the child theme I get the following 2 warning messages. I created the style.css and functions.php using the example code. Only have akismet and jetpack, both deactivated at the moment. I only see the error in the dashboard, the site seems to load fine. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

    Found my mistake in the functions.php file in the child directory.

    I had some comments on line 1 before <?php

    Moved comments to behind <?php and error went away.

    FYI to anyone else seeing this warning message.
