    I have created a few pages: 1) Home, 2) About Me, 3) Contact Me, 4) Treasure Finds. In the Dashboard mode, the URLs for #2 & #4 appear as they should be: “about-me” and “treasure-finds”; however when I View the website, the #2 About Me and the #4 Treasure Finds are exactly the same content. I have tried editing both in the dashboard, but they still show as the same thing, either both are About Me or both are Treasure Finds. I have tried deleting one and both pages and completely recreating them. In the Viewing mode, both the About Me and the Treasure Finds headlines show in blue colored font, while the Home and Contact Me show in black colored font.
    How do I separate the About Me and Treasure Finds pages from each other and make them unique pages?

  • Hello,

    I know it’s been over two days…. but if this problem still persists, I can help you troubleshoot it.

    Can you share the links to the two pages where this problem is occurring?

    Hello, thanks for your message and help.

    Here is the link to the “Treasure Finds” page: https://truebluetreasurehunter.com/treasure-finds/

    The other link should be https://truebluetreasurehunter.com/about-me
    When I type that in, it takes me to the “About Me” page I created, however when I am viewing the website, both the “About Me” and “Treasure Finds” pages are the same, and the URLs both show only the https://truebluetreasurehunter.com/treasure-finds/

    Thanks for the help, much appreciated
    Nicole

    Hi Nicole,

    Your website is locked-up behind a COMING SOON page.

    No one but you can access it.

    Hi George, apologies for the delayed reply- I finally unlocked the site and launched it. The launched version still shows this same issue. If you could take a look and offer any recommendations for the fix, I would be very appreciative! Thank you

    Hello,

    I have a theory of what might have happened, but let’s not go there… let’s find a solution instead ??

    Go to APPEARANCE => MENUS and remove the two menu items named “About Me” and “Treasure Finds”. Update the menu, and confirm from the website that these two items have been removed from your navigational menu.

    Next, back in APPEARANCE => MENUS

    Search for and add the two pages named “About Me” and “Treasure Finds”, updated, and once again, head over to the website to confirm that these two menu items are now visible.

    If my theory is right, the new menu items will now link to the following pages:

    ABOUT ME => https://truebluetreasurehunter.com/about-me/
    TREASURE FINDS => https://truebluetreasurehunter.com/about-me-2/

    If we’re on track so far, the final step would be to change the “slug” of the TREASURE FINDS page from “about-me-2” to “treasure-finds”.

    To do this, head back to the dashboard and go to PAGES to see a list of all your pages. Now, under the TREASURE FINDS page, click on QUICK EDIT, change the SLUG from “about-me-2” to “treasure-finds”, and click UPDATE to apply your the change. Check the site to be sure everything is kosher.

    Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
