Created CPT and not seeing it in admin

    Hello,

    I just added the plugin. I created the CPT “work” and left default settings selected. I hit “add” and nothing appeared in the wp admin menu. I went under CPT UI > Add/Edit Post Types and don’t see an option to view existing Types. I went under CPT UI > Registered Types/Taxes and it says there are none. Yet when I go to recreate “work” it says it already exists. Where does it exist?

    Do you have anything available in the Import/Export area?

    Under Export Post Types it says: No post types registered yet.

    I’ve never had this problem before – I’ve used the plugin on a few other sites and it’s worked great. This is the first time I’m using Bluehost. I have the following plugins, I don’t think any of them would be a conflict though: Askimet, iThemes Security. Any known issues with those?

    I deleted the plugin, added it back, and added a new CPT with the name “portfolio” and that is showing up. My “work” is still not there though. *Shrugs* who knows how the internet really works?

    Hmm, not sure. I just did a “work” post type myself, and nothing wrong. Sounds like you found a viable alternative solution though.
