Created a problem with Elementor and displaying JS scripts

    When trying to optimize the plugin, I noticed that Elementor stopped opening. Also, some elements on the site itself, made using the Elementor and using the JS slider on the main page, are no longer displayed correctly.

    I tried to fix the problem by rolling back all the changes in the plugin settings – it didn’t help. Deactivation also didn’t help. Removing it also didn’t fix the problem. Clearing the cache didn’t help. Can the problem be corrected? Or is there only a full restore of the backup?

    At first sight the site looks OK to me now and I don’t see any trace of Autoptimize in the HTML source, but …

    the same HTML source does show you’re using LABjs (which is not a part of Autoptimize) to load your JavaScript in a non-default manner and that does seem to be the reason for quite a lot of JS errors on the browser console (e.g. because jQuery is not available in time), which is part of wp-deferred-javascripts plugin, so that is likely the root cause of your problems?

    At that point, I had already disabled the plugin, trying to roll back the problem. As a result, I decided that it would be easier to restore the backup.

    Perhaps there was a problem in this, I can no longer establish for certain, alas ??

    But the deferred javascripts plugin was deactivated, did it affect the code anyway?

    hard to say, but given the fact deactivating or removing AO did not help (which normally brings back the site to the state before you had it, as AO does not make any changes that cannot be undone), something was going wrong .. :-/
