Created a new page in template but not able to link

  • Hi,
    I’m facing an issue in giving the link.In my wordpress I have created .php file for example I created abc.php file..now I want to go to this page from index.php..i.e on the header part of my site there is tab ABC..and as i click ABC i need to move to abc.php page..but i aint able to get abc.php page..could anyone of you help me out in fixing this..

    Hey James,

    You provided the link of a plugin..well actually I’m not in need of a plugin..Rather want to know why i aint able to move to the page which i created in my template,which is created inside themes twentyten..just like header.php..i created another .php file and that is this abc.php..but i aint able to link it from my home page(index.php)..why it is so..?

    A template file is just a template. It’s designed to display dynamic content, not necessarily to be content. If you created it as a page template, you need to write a page and select the specific page template from the “Page Attributes” section to the right. This will produce a page using your page template.

    hey could you tell me how should i give de link, i mean how the link should beso that by clicking the abc tab am moved to abc.php..i tried by giving the full path..but still its aint working..:(
