Create WordPress account using Facebook Connect?

  • We’re having difficulty finding a decent plugin, anyone have any code/plugin recommendations/ideas?

    We want to use Facebook Connect to create a new user within WordPress, pulling the following information from the users profile:

    – Profile Picture (to be displayed alongside name in the header of the site to indicate signed in user)
    – Name
    – Email address

    Once a user is connected and they’ve allowed the plugin, the above information gets inserted into WordPress to create a new user (with specific user role (Subscriber)). This will also allow a user to login with Facebook to access content on the site.

    The registration needs to be as seamless as possible (no Password/2-step verification as we’ve encountered with other plugins).

    Any ideas?
