I would like to know if it’s possible to turn the ‘Your Address’ text field into a wildcard search field, being able to search on addresses and names (titles)?

For example, locations are not only address based but name based as well. So an office might be called ‘boca raton’, but located in ‘orlando’.

Let me know if this might be possible.

    Thanks!

If you’re comfortable with code, then I can point in the direction how to add it? But otherwise you will have to wait until I add support for it either the 2.4 or 2.5 update.

    Tijmen,

Thanks for the response. I am comfortable with code, so that would be great if you could point me on how to do it.

    Thanks,

After reading your question again, it’s maybe better if you send me an email at tijmen at wpstorelocator.co

I made a custom version in the past with two checkboxes where users could chose between a location search, or a name search. This version is based on a older version ( I think 2.1 ), but it did work. So If you email me, then I can send that version over, and you can adjust it to your needs.
