Create User Log In Page

    I am mostly a novice but have managed to create a site in wp.org that for the most part meets my needs.However, I have been stumped in the ability to set it up to allow new users to log-in and create a subscriber account. I now how to manually add a user, that’s not my problem. I installed Members thinking it would provide the necessary capability to allow me to do this. It seems to work fine for setting up roles. And, If I make everything require a password it will as a new visitor to create a user ID and password. However, I want to also collect the first/last name and would like some filter like CAPTCHA to provide a modicum of security. I looked at the description for MemberPress and there is nothing that describes this capability in the benefits list of upgrading. Also, I am only interested in securing my Blog page. Question: how can I set up an automatic user account creation/login when the user selects my blog and a Login page that a user can select at anytime to login or create a new account.

    Hi @escape4u

    Our plugin allows you to protect pages and posts, so you can protect blog page if it’s regular page available under WP Dashboard > Pages page. If it is an archive page you will need to protect each post one by one.

    Unfortunately, we don’t provide login or create form as a shortcode so you will need to use different plugin to display these forms. Once you have it, when the post/page is protected via Content Permission tool you can add a shortcodes you have in the “Error Message” tab: https://prnt.sc/XNpdB-iKASY0
