Create unique cookie for mobile visitors

    Hi there

    very few solutions for the thing I need, so I really hope this plugin can help me.

    I need to set a unique cookie for mobile users only so the cookie can be detected by the server and that Varnish cache is disabled on mobile because some plugins aren’t functioning as it should when this cache is present.

    Can you please advise how to accomplish this with the this plugin?

    This plugin will not help you either I am afraid. The varnish cache sits before the website so you will need to look at modifying your varnish configs to decide which devices get served a cache and which get served the uncached site.

    I found a way how to disable cache but I would need a cookie ??

    Is it possible to use the plugin just to create a cookie and serve to mobile users using wp_is_mobile function?

    I don’t think so. A logged out visitor will arrive on your site and most likely be served the varnish cache. If they are skipping PHP you cannot set a cookie using this plugin. I am fairly certain this would need to be fixed at the varnish level.
