Create text or other non-color swatches

How can you create other type of non-color swatches? I′m trying to get “sizes” to work with little luck. I′ve choosed “text” on the type selection from attribute edit page, and create several “sizes” variable, choosing “non” on the Swatch Type from each variable, but it does not show anything on the product page.

Also, “Thumbnail” field appear to be not working since I activated the plugin.

Any help?
