Create terms

    Can I create terms when i select “Taxonomies” as a field type. I can’t seem to find how.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback! The “Taxonomies” field is a “Taxonomy” selector, it let developers add the possibility to select any available taxonomy like “Category” or “Post Tags” etc…

    To create a term, you’ll have to use the native ACF field “Taxonomy” field, with the “Create Term” setting. See documentation: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/taxonomy/

    I plan to add “Inline Term Edit” & “Inline Term Add” features like the Post Object & Relationship fields, but for terms, in the future. This will also have the advantage be able to edit any Term Meta fields (where ACF currently limit to Term Name & Description). There’s no ETA yet tho.
