create sticky post in a category only

  • I have looked for plugins etc but none either seem to do what I need or are not compatable with WordPress 3.3.1.

    I need to be able to have a sticky post in a category only not the home page as well, is this possible?

    Actually if anyone knows of a plugin that is compatible with 3.3.1 could you let me know about it.
