Create Site Icon not in theme?

  • I am trying to create a site icon – I read that this function is now built into WP but I cannot find the function. I am running the “Attorneys” WP Theme. I went to “Appearance” –> “Customize” and looked for the Site Icon option but it is not there. Is it possible this theme doesn’t support it? If so, should I just use a plugin or custom CSS to create one? (in that last event I would welcome any suggestions for plug-ing or custom CSS). Here is the site:

    There is a theme called “Attorney” in the WP theme directory.

    If this is your theme, then I recommend asking in this theme’s dedicated support sub-forum for better results so its developers and users can help you with this:

    I was going to post in the theme directory but this question has already been asked in there and no response was given. Many support requests go unanswered with this theme…unfortunately. Do you have any other options for me? Thanks!

    The theme page states: “Last updated: March 23, 2014”

    Almost two years!
    The author may have abandoned it
