    Hello,

I’m using Polylang to have two different languages in my webshop.
I have already created the product categories, and ‘shop’ shows on both sides of the webshop (2 languages). Like this: Home -> Shop -> Product Category
But when clicking on ‘shop’ it refers always to 1 language of the webshop.

When I installed Woocommerce, there was a standard ‘shop page’.
Now I would like to create a second shop page in another language.

I tried duplicating the standard page using a plugin, but that duplicated page appears empty.
I also tried creating a new page, but I’m not sure whether there’s maybe a shortcode that has the same layout as the standard shop page?

I don’t know how I can create a second shop page in another language, which also shows in the view:

    – Home -> Shop -> Product Categories

    – Product categories on left side (I created these already in both languages and they are available on both sides of the Webshop)

    Thanks for your support!

    Hi there,

The Shop page doesn’t need a shortcode, because it’s designated as being the shop page by the Shop page setting you’ll find at WP Admin ? Settings ? Products.

How Polylang handles that for multilingual stores, is a question best directed at Polylang.

In the meantime, here’s a helpful article that covers the hows and whys of a multilingual WooCommerce store:

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply!
I’ll address my question to the Polylang forum.

I do have another related question.
Currently I can’t even see the shop page anymore.
I get this view: Home -> Product Category

How can I get this back again:
Home -> Shop -> Product Category

    Thanks!

IF you go to WP Admin ? WooCommerce ? Settings ? Products, you’ll see a setting for “Shop Page”. If you visit the page that is selected there, then you should see the breadcrumbs that look like “Home ? Shop”.

If you do not, it might also be related to your language plugin. It could also be influenced by themes or other plugins.
