Create second version of product page

I’m essentially looking to have two versions of each product page on my site. One would be the standard product page and then I’d create create an alternate version of the template without things like a price, add to cart button or product options – like a product information sheet. The idea of the information sheet it that a link to it could be sent to people who received the item as a gift so they can see all the product information (description, attributes, etc) without immediately seeing the price, stock levels and that kind of stuff.

I’m wondering what would be the best way to achieve this? For example, is it possible to use a different product template by using a different URL. eg. /shop/product/nice-gift/ for the main product page and /shop/product/nice-gift/infosheet for the alternate template.

Any advice to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
