Create same attributes on existing products

  • Hi, I’ve created a site that contains a lot of products.
    I want to create attribute for each of the products I have. Instead of doing it one after another. Can I do it by making some sort of a parent product where the other products in use can inherit from?

    Eg. Lets say I want an attribute named “Size” in every product. I want to make that available to every product in use to let the customers see that. I want to save time by not doing this for every product in my list.

  • You could make a template product with the common attributes and any other common text and settings. When you hover over it in the Products list, there is a duplicate option, leaving you to just fill in what’s different.
