create new page with plain text

    Hi everyone,

    I’m new to wordpress.

    When I create a new page, the content is displayed as a post on wich you can comment.
    What I want is just the text.
    The template used is the default template, witch is page.php
    In this file is the line: ‘get_template_part( ‘loop’, ‘page’ );’
    Is this the problem?

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I figured it out.
    I tried it again and unchecked the leave comment checkbox, in the discussion panel.

    Now I have just a header and text below it.
    Without the leave reply
