I used to be able to “Create new label” and I used it all the time, usually when items were returned for insufficient address.

Now that’s not an option. Even setting the order status back to “Processing” doesn’t allow me to create a new label.

Are you planning to include this functionality? Otherwise I’ll need to revert back to WooCommerce Shipping & Tax.

    Hi @ctheory11,

We are still working through possible solutions to bring something like this back as an interim solution, while we work on a more solid once off label purchase flow.

A workaround for now is to manually create a new order in wp-admin and add the items to the order you want to ship and then purchase a label for that new order.

I’m sorry, but do you have any better near term solutions to this problem? Creating a new order is not a solution at all, not to mention how it will affect analytics/revenue tracking (plus time loss and inefficiency). What is the actual timeline for this? Or can you suggest any other integrated products that have this feature so we can switch in the “interim”? This is such a basic level of shipping functionality I am actually very livid I am boxed in now with this product. We run a 7 figure business how can we not do something as simple as create a second shipping label on an order? (Please excuse my frustration but this is absolutely unacceptable) This should be at the front and center of your dev team.

I experienced this problem after switching from Woocommerce Shipping & Tax. Going back to S & T returned the function, until they get this resolved. You might give it a try.

We appreciate you raising this issue and sharing your feedback on this topic. We are actively working on adding this feature to WooCommerce Shipping and prioritizing this work. Be sure to check the changelog with future releases, as we’re hoping to have this feature included in an update in early 2025.
Since this request is in the works currently, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions or feedback to share, please feel free to create a forum post. Thanks!

    Hi,

I am happy to report that we have released 1.4.0, which now allows you to purchase additional labels even after you have fulfilled all the items in the order.

Thanks for everyone’s patience while we worked on this.

Fantastic! Just yesterday I had to re-enter an order when a package was returned for incomplete address.
