• Hi,

    I’m just getting started with creating a website ([ redundant link removed ]). What I’d like to do is have 3 pages: About me, writing and photography.

    Under the Writing page, I’d like to create blog posts. I’m able to do that by setting it up as ‘blog page’ under ‘reading’. [ redundant link removed ]

    However, I’d also like to create blog posts under the ‘photography’ page. Any idea how to do that? It seems like WP only allows one designated page for blog posts…

  • This can and is done often. Yes, you can have the default “posts” and “pages” but you can also have Custom Post Types:

    Post Types

    A Custom Posts Type (CPT) could be included in a Theme, added to your Child Theme, or with a plugin.

    Many folks often just group posts into Categories and link to the category page of posts.

    There are many well written articles online about this.
