Create free tickets

Im trying to do the same thing. I need more than what the RSVP offers. I need to be able to give users a code even when something is free but RSVP won’t allow me to do that.

Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment to create event tickets which are free. This is due to the fact that Event Tickets works with PayPal, which doesn’t accept 0 as a value.

As a workaround, you may use the RSVP feature.

@jeremy80 Thanks for the reply. That’s unfortunate to hear. Is there a way using RSVP to still give people something to show that they actually RSVP’d? I need to give out free text codes for an event but haven’t been able to find any way to do this.

@farukhdk as I mentioned above, that can be achieved with Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce. Is there any particular reason why RSVPs would not be enough for your use case?
