create form with document upload ability

Hi, I’m creating a website for a friend who’s a recruiter. I already used WP Forms lite for a regular contact form, but I would also like a make a similar form for someone who needs to submit a resume. I would like to be able to do this without additional cost and was wondering if it would be better to create one from scratch or if there were time tested ‘free’ plug-ins for this? I first attempted with WP forms but I see I’ve have to upgrade to pro for the ability to upload a document.

I want this form to send an email to the business owner. Nothing will be saved in the database.
