Create/Edit/Copy Post/Custom Post/Page in a multi site network from master site.

I run Multisites too and in this situation i would wrap all your tools up into a simple plugin; one plugin per tool (subsite) or all together in a single plugin. Since your tools are actually subsites then you’ll need to include the ‘themes’ GUI too.

If you go the way of a separate plugin per tool then you have better control over versioning of each tool/subsite if they are being developed individually. Plugins are made for this type of situation! You can rollout your updates in the same manner as the plugins in your website; replacing old versions adding new functionality etc ….

BTW: If you are new to plugin development try this tool which will create a skeleton plugin package for you to ‘fill-in-the-blanks’ so to speak – Good luck.

thx but the entire subsite is a tool, with page, function, elementor graphic style, and use other plugin to build all function.

Ok, how about using a Cloner plugin – there are a few out there already. Just make a cloned version of the subsite tool with your updates to the theme or functions or css and export to the new location. worst case scenario is that you may have to delete the old tool(subsite) after/or before the clone operation. There’s nothing ‘simple’ about this type of op but there are some good plugins to make it simple.

the plugin I use now to manage the network would already allow you to update your subsite, but doing so would lose all previous settings and uploaded files. I would like to avoid it. but you made me remember that there is an interesting plugin that should have in the premium version, just the option I’m looking for.
