Hello folks, can I create a page dedicated to standalone Google web stories (using new plugin). CNN (https://edition.cnn.com/ampstories) has such a site. Or is there a way to create a “category” for them? I ask because I believe they could be “lost” just embedded singularly in a post. I kind of like this product and would crank them out given thumbs up directions to my request ??
    Thank you, Bob Danley

    Excellent question!

As of now, an archive of your web stories can be accessed via https://mywebsite.com/web-stories/. While that already helps a bit, it’s not the best experience just yet.

That’s why we are working on a suite of dedicated blocks and enhancements that allow you to list your most recent stories on your site in a similar style to that example you shared. Categorization could be an option there, too.

Would that work well for the use case you have in mind?

Thanks for the quick response Pascal. That is exciting news. And yes, what you have laid out (blocks and categories) is what I have in mind…not-so-much the mywebsite.com alternative. Really appreciate you/Wordpress team developing this possibility. Have a super day, Bob

    Awesome, that’s great to hear!

There a couple of GitHub tickets where we’re tracking this kind of enhancement, most prominently https://github.com/google/web-stories-wp/issues/3064/. You can subscribe to that ticket to get notified for any updates, but we’ll also try to keep you updated here. It’s a priority item for us, but we want to make sure we get it right, so unfortunately I can’t provide you with any specific timeline for it.

Meanwhile, is there anything else we could help you with?

If not, have you considered leaving a review? This would be greatly appreciated!

    Have a splendid day, too!
