Create Custom Title Tage of %CustomTerm% from field inputs

    Can someone direct me to source information on how i can create a new or custom title tag input. I have a real estate site and there are key terms that could be used in the title meta tags – not sure how to get the plugin to incorporate them from the existing page …

    Currently an example might be %Post_Title% and I think I’d like to make it %post_Title% | %City% Real Estate or perhaps
    %post_Title% | Property_Type%

    The “City” and “Property_Type” term are an attributes from a form fielded input on the page. Any guidance or direction on this is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi jimii,

    By default the title tag will use the post title, you can see this in the post title format options. All in One SEO Pack also supports using custom fields in titles, prefixed by %cf_ and ending with another % – so for example if you have a custom field named city then you can include it in your titles using %cf_city% – let me know if that’s what you’re looking for here.

    Peter – thank you so much for your reply – I understood the default and its functionality.

    The second component on custom fields ‘was’ my challenge – your note has solved it for me with the preface of the cf_ within the string – thank you very very much!
